This was our first big trip in the Airstream: a loop around Newfoundland along the Trans-Canada Highway in the spring of 2025. We came off the ferry at Port aux Basques, worked our way up the west coast, cut across to the Avalon Peninsula on the east side, then doubled back along the highway to catch the ferry home. Eleven stops along the way, from a wind-battered pull-off called Wreckhouse to a private fishing trip in a place called Cox Cove, some right on the highway and some worth the detour off it.
